Hi, I’m Anna McFalls and I describe myself as an "all-around creative". Yes, I'm an art director, graphic designer and artist, but my passion in the creative industry extends beyond these titles. I am enamored with the creative process, whether manifested in art, design, writing, sound, photography, or film, no medium is safe from me.
While I love to take on a side project or two, my core focus is to become an art director within the entertainment industry. From the hours of listening to CDs in my dad’s car or the time spent watching films while working on art projects—music and film have been at the center of my inspiration for as long as I can remember.
In the present, I am working towards my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in mass communications at the University of Florida. Beyond my studies I have diverse experiences in the creative field.
Currently, I am the Lead Art Director at The Agency at UF, a student-run communications firm where I work with clients such as Disney Advertising, Career@Disney, Gators Unidos, and Astraeus Space Institute. In this role I lead teams of copywriters and designers in the execution of creative deliverables. Further, I act as amthe Lead UX designer for a startup business. In addition, I seek freelance opportunities, often working bands, such as Quail Hollow , MADWOMAN and Southbound 441 and publications such as Bonkers! Mag. Lastly, I work as an art instructor at Painting with a Twist.
I plan to continue my path as an art director and designer within the entertainment industry and find a place in which I can push the bounds of the creativity. I am always eager to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential opportunities. 1. What’s one of your bucket list items?
I need to see a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater. An outdoor concert at 6,500 elevation... I'd levitate
2. How many playlists do you have?
74… I like to soundtrack my life, so I obviously have to make a playlist for every mood, season, type of weather, and time of day.
3. Favorite celebrity or movie character?
Kat Stratford, forever my icon.
4. What’s one of the craziest things you’ve done?
Jumped off a 50 foot cliff... twice...yes mom, if my friends did it I would do it too.
5. What’s your guilty pleasure song?
My top song from 2022-2023 was “The Adults are Talking” by the Strokes. I played it 573 times – and counting. (I don’t feel that guilty)
6. What’s your dream job?
An art director in the entertainment industry! (specifically music or film)
