THE ASK
In July of 2024 Career@Disney partnered with The Agency to reimagine what employee support and internal engagement can look like.
Career@Disney tasked my team at The Agency with defining C@D as a modern sub-brand of the Walt Disney company through art direction and cohesive visuals.
The Agency team solidified the visual identity of the newly launched brand then quickly pivoted to creating all of the visual output for a 24-Hour Global Conference, a $600k in-person networking event, and a influencer marketing campaign.

ART DIRECTION

Career@Disney provided my team with a color and font package. From here defined how the provided assets would be utilized to delineate Career@Disney as a recognizable sub-brand.
We focused on the sentiments of Achievement, Balance, and Connection; ideals that represent Career@Disney as a whole.
From these keywords, we built out a recognizable brand identity through the creation of custom animated gradients, fading grain textures, and three key elemental moments.
Career@Disney needed key moments of brand identity. Elements are the fundamental building blocks of matter, so I created three elemental designs to symbolize how Achievement, Balance and Connection serve as the foundational building blocks of Career@Disney.
These elemental icons strengthen the connection to Disney IP. Many Disney films have a strong connection to natural elements, and these elements can effectively represent the three pillars of ABC while resonating with employees.
ACHIEVEMENT
Inspired by Hercules, the mountaintop represents the journey toward resiliency and personal growth.
The mountaintop symbolizes the climb to personal goals. Disney aims to foster an environment in which their employees can succeed and reach new horizons.

BALANCE
Inspired by Moana, the wave expresses the value of work-life balance.
Disney strives to support its employees in their work and personal lives. The balance symbol focuses on the Disney ideal to "Be your best self. Do your best work. Thrive."
CONNECTION
Inspired by The Lion King and the Tree of Life, the tree highlights the importance of community and having a support network.
The tree exemplifies that Disney is not just a place of work; it’s a deep-rooted community.

BRANDLIVE WEBSITE ASSETS

In preparation for the 24-Hour Global Conference my team designed the Brandlive site where the event would be hosted.
I created the favicon, a custom moving gradient header, a mentorship testimonial template, multiple web banners, and icon tiles to be featured on the site.

24 HOUR GLOBAL CAREER CONFERENCE

Career@Disney held a 24-Hour Global Conference featuring over 24 expert speakers. The conference covered topics within the key themes of Achievement, Balance, and Connection.
The design team developed lower thirds designs, custom zoom backgrounds, and bumper graphics.
IN-PERSON CONFERENCE
On October 23-24th Career@Disney hosted a $600k in-person networking event at Burbank Studios. My team at The Agency designed all run of show graphics, 58' conference walls, merchandise, and banners for the conference. The work we completed for this conference was placed in the Disney archives for reuse.
The event featured three lounge experiences, each centralized on one of the core values of Career@Disney; Achievement, Balance, or Connection.
